Let Him Out

Wow!  What an absolutely amazing and powerful Women’s Conference it was this past weekend in Tyrone, GA hosted by Legacy Ministries.  The wealth of Godly wisdom carried in the panel of women who taught/shared with us was astounding, and the Lord ministered in a powerful way through each of them to many hearts. Thank you for all of your prayers for my Prophetic Movement workshop as well.  God is faithful and released such freedom and healing to hearts in just one hour!   It was beautiful!!   As I prepared for the workshop, I felt the Lord highlighting Isaiah 43:19, “Behold, I am doing a NEW thing,” and felt the prayer coming forth thanking Him that He is ALWAYS doing a new thing!  Even the very way I was going to teach the workshop that day was going to be new and different…..AND IT WAS!!  There was an abundance of NEW steps, NEW expressions, NEW movements, NEW songs, NEW feelings, NEW experiences as we surrendered to the Holy Spirit and gave Him permission to flow through us.  Oh, what joy and peace there is in the place of pure abandonment and sweet surrender. While meditating on how worship itself it is simply “responding to God”, one of the new questions that came to my heart was, “How does the Holy Spirit respond to God the Father and Jesus?”  I imagined the Holy Spirit like a little child seeing his/her first firework show….jumping up and down in exuberant excitement, non-stop proclamations of, “Look, Mommy!  Look Daddy!  Did you see that one?!?!”  and “Oooooooo….that one’s so pretty!”  Eyes as wide as saucers and completely mesmerized by the beauty of the light show.  This is the Holy Spirit inside of US….completely fascinated with who God is and wanting to express that fascination THROUGH us in all of our various giftings, talents, hobbies, and traits.  Our job in the relationship is to simply, “LET HIM OUT!!!”  LET Him express Himself through us.  LET Him be who He is in us and reflect His glory out of us. Psalm 45:10 talks about how the King desires our beauty (our expression, our voice, our gift of worship), and will stop at nothing to get it because that’s what we were created to do.  Our gift and our joy is to give Him what is rightfully His…all of our worship….whatever that unique expression looks like.  Maybe it’s in painting or cooking or writing or singing?  Maybe it’s in twirling and dancing or building and training?  He is the One who hand-crafted us and manufactured us and knows exactly what’s inside of you and me.  May we enter more and more into the place of sweet surrender and let Him come out in greater and greater...

2015 – A Year of Turnaround

Posted on Mar 20, 2015 in Blog Posts, Prayer, Uncategorized

Last month while I was in Ohio, I was blessed to attend a Prophetic Conference with Chuck Pierce, Dutch Sheets, and Tim Sheets, where they shared prophetic insights of what they felt the Lord was saying for 2015.  It was so encouraging and faith-building!  A common theme that all three of them shared was that 2015 was “A Year of Turnaround.”   Phrases like, “The Year of the Whirlwind,“ “Turning Into Restoration,” and “Boomerang” were spoken of with reference to the story of Esther…..what the enemy has planned is going to boomerang around on him.    Esther 9:25 – “But when the plot came to the king’s attention, he issued written orders that the evil scheme Haman had devised against the Jews should come back onto his own head.“ Another resounding word that came forth for 2015 was from Joel 2, “I can restore what you have lost!”  The beginning of April was mentioned as a particular time when they felt there would be a point of the greatest turning and restoration coming forth.  I don’t know about you, but my spirit immediately bore witness with these words when I heard them and still continues to several weeks later. As with any prophetic words we hear/receive, we measure them against the Word of God, but we also hold them before the Lord in prayer, asking Him to speak to our hearts and then partnering with His heart in prayer.  As I sit before the Lord in prayer over these things, it’s like fire in my bones.  Even now as I type, it burns in me and bears witness of the signs of the times.  These are urgent times we’re living in, and God is moving, positioning, and preparing His Bride for the great battle ahead.  Now is not a time to fear, but a time to rise up in faith.  God is on His throne and we are living in the greatest hour in history where we’re going to see the greatest measure of the glory of God poured out like never before.  The dark will get darker, but the light will get lighter!  WE are the light, and God is raising up a mighty army to go forth in HIS power and might.  Praise God we’re on the winning side and Christ has ALREADY won through the finished work of the cross.  Col. 2:15 – “And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he [Christ] made a public spectacle of them [the enemy], triumphing over them by the cross.” My prayer is that your heart would be strengthened and encouraged in HIM today and in these declarations for 2015.  That you would take hold of this Word for your life today…that what the enemy has planned for evil against you is going to BOOMERANG around on him this year!  Romans 8 promises that for those who love God and are called according to His purposes that He will turn all things for His good and for His glory.  I am standing with you today in prayer believing for restoration of all that’s been lost and for a mighty turnaround to be made manifest in your life in...

The Gift of Today

Posted on Mar 4, 2015 in Blog Posts, Prayer

I woke up this morning with a LONG list of things to do.  My usual Wednesday prayer partners were out of town….would I still take that hour to sit with the Lord and pray?  Could I afford not to?  Definitely not…and so I sat.  A friend unexpectedly showed up for prayer, and we decided to pray outside and enjoy the beautiful 70 degree weather.  As we breathed in the fresh air and soaked up the warm sun, we were swept up into Papa’s arms and given a beautiful revelation. The Lord highlighted a flock of birds sitting in the tops of a nearby tree constantly squawking loudly.  As we prayed, I felt like the Lord was highlighting the scripture in Psalm 29 how all creation declares the glory of God and that we were to just BE STILL and LISTEN to what He wanted to say to us through the birds.  So, we did…..  We got Jeremiah 29:11 and Matthew 6:26. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope.” “Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” Then, minutes later, all the birds left the tree and started swirling around in seemingly pointless patterns, but still squawking loudly and constantly.  We continued to observe and ask the Lord what He was saying.  I couldn’t stop asking the question of WHY?  “Why are they constantly squawking?  What’s the point?  Are they needing something and asking for it?”  I felt the answer was the opposite.  They were in need of NOTHING.  They were just being WHO THEY ARE.  They’re birds.  They fly.  They make loud noises.  That’s just what they do, and best of all….they love it.  It may be annoying to others (ie. me and my friend), but it’s not annoying to them.  And most of all, it’s not annoying to God 🙂  HE LOVES IT!!!  Their pattern of flying may have looked/seemed pointless and directionless, but it made sense to THEM.  They were flying by intuition, not by some pre-planned pattern or schedule.  Again, that may have caused stress or irritation to others watching….but, not to them. 🙂  They were clueless of our opinions of their flight patterns, and honestly couldn’t have cared less.  They were simply caught up in being the God-given creatures that they were made to be…….just like WE are supposed to be.  Swept up in our God-given roles as Sons and Daughters of God, being loved on limitlessly by Him, and not having a care in the world. The birds then completely scattered and were no where to be seen, and another revelation came…..just as quickly as the scene completely changed from the birds sitting pointlessly in a tree, to them flying in a swirl, to them completely disappearing, so is our lives.  There are SO many things in life that we FEEL like will NEVER change.  But in a MOMENT….poof!  It’s gone.  Our circumstances, our problems, our work situations, and even the people around us will ALL change eventually because “This too shall pass.”  Nothing is forever, so ENJOY THE MOMENT.  Embrace it.  Be thankful for the good IN it because one day, it won’t be there….and you’ll miss it.  Don’t believe me?  Just wait and see.  I don’t care how wonderful a situation is, there are always days/seasons that are simply NOT fun and that you wish would just...
